The Dionysus Ensemble was formed by cellist Léonie Adams in 2003 and specialises in reduced orchestration opera performance and chamber orchestral concerts. It is comprised primarily of students and recent graduates from the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music and is based in London.
Recent productions have included The Magic Flute, Eugene Onegin, The Barber of Seville and Carmen with performances across London including the Purcell Room.
