Léonie Adams studied with Igor Sitnikov in Moscow, was a prize winner at the Royal College of Music and a postgraduate scholar at the Royal Academy of Music in London supported by the Raphael Sommer and Henry Dixon Scholarships.
She was also awarded full scholarships to the prestigious Santander Academy to study with Natalia Gutman and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi in 2006, and the TSMAF with Janos Starker in 2007.
Léonie was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and has been a concerto soloist across Europe with performances including the Schumann Concerto with the Luxembourg Philharmonia, and Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, Elgar and Haydn C major in the UK.
She has performed in master classes with Steven Doane, Colin Carr, Frans Helmerson and Bernard Greenhouse amongst others.
Léonie is currently based in London and freelances with various orchestras including the City of London Sinfonia, London Concert Orchestra, English National Opera, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
